Redmi K20/K20 Pro to be available in Gold Plated variant tomorrow.

Redmi K20/K20 Pro are easily one of THE MOST ANTICIPATED smartphone during this month for their price to performance ratio and their eye-catching design. But now Redmi has teased a whole new LUXURY variant and has ignited the Hype Flame to triple the size.

Redmi has planned to unveil a special golden limited edition of the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro tomorrow, teased its Global VP Manu Kumar Jain.

He went on Twitter to hype up the upcoming premium version of both phones with an image of a gold-plated phone with a diamond-encrusted K logo in the bottom corner. The image has a carbon-like texture as the background, possibly hinting at a second limited edition finish.

The price of the special version sits at the extortionate ₹4,80,000.

The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro share a basic blueprint of a 6.39-inch AMOLED, in-display fingerprint, triple camera with a 48MP main snapper with a telephoto and ultrawide helpers and 4,000mAh battery. The K20 Pro then adds a Snapdragon 855 while the K20 uses a Snapdragon 730.

Redmi K20 Pro Avengers Limited Edition is HERE!!!

After the realme X Spider-Man Edition announcement last week, Xiaomi’s Redmi has introduced Marvel Avengers-themed Limited Edition Gift Box in China. It comes in a special box with the Avengers logo, the phone has an armored design on the back in black color and comes with blue colored Avengers back case.

The Armored look in the back looks attractive with small  patterns. The box also has a small metal plate with Avengers 4 engraved on it.

Other specifications of the K20 Pro remains the same that includes a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.9% screen-to-body ratio with 2.1mm narrrow bezels, Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM, Android Pie with MIUI 10 on top, 48-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 8-megapixel telephoto lens for 2x loss-less zoom and a 13-megapixel 124.8° ultra-wide sensor, 20-megapixel pop-up front camera with sapphire lens cover that can rise in 0.8 seconds, seventh-generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor, 3D curved design, and a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

The company has not announced when the gift box will be available in China. It is also not clear if this will come to India along with the standard K20 Pro later this month. For now it’s a good thing we don’t have to wait for long as Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K20 Pro on 15th of July.

Xiaomi once again trolls OnePlus as it nears it’s K20/ K20 Pro Launch in India.

XIaomi is always known for taking a Jab at OnePlus whenever they are nearing their device launch and in this case months before their official launch in India. The official launch of K20/ K20 Pro is July 15th.

Xiaomi’s promo campaign last year during the launch of POCO F1 started the “Do the ma+h” campaign & gave away gift bags with a calculator. Well this year, it’s about numbers too, specifically the AnTuTu score.

A few days ago the @RedmiIndia account tweeted “Somebody jus+ announced the world’s fastest phone” (the “+” instead of “t” makes it clear who is the target of this dig). The company also promised to beat that, saying “hold my AnTuTu”. And today Redmi delivers the second punch – Redmi K20 Pro’s score.

The AnTuTu score of K20 Pro is 388,803 which is the fastest we have seen in a long time. However it hasn’t still made it to the charts and the current champion is Mi 9 which still beats the OnePlus 7 Pro.

This AnTuTu-based rivalry is only limited to companies and it won’t affect any real life scenarios for the consumers, as it won’t matter much to consumers.

I agree, it is the fastest but this same score won’t be possible for all the consumers, AnTuTu scores just tell half the story as there are many a new parameters in the real life when it is in the hands on real users.
